1) i found a text file in my root directory named SS2_debug.txt. it is bloody HUGE (10MB) for a text file and is filled with shit like

Data Read, bytecount at 1024
Data Read, bytecount at 2048
Data Read, bytecount at 3072
Data Read, bytecount at 4096
Data Read, bytecount at 5120
Data Read, bytecount at 6144
Data Read, bytecount at 7168
Data Read, bytecount at 8192

it goes all the way up to a huge number…. 10 MB worth.

2) some guy from brazil called a-ha (born 1983 and speaks portuguese) messaged me twice with
<i>”i am of brazil !!! you know the film of werewolf ( silver bullet)”</i>
am trying to be nice and not send him a message bomb.

3) i received an email from icq.com asking me to “re-activate” my ICQ number. i suspect someone has been trying to hack my account by requesting retrival of my password from the icq servers.

4) i got bounced mail for mail i’ve never sent, including an attachment named goldfish.scr. NAV 2k gives me the all clear though.

5) i received mail from someone including the attachment goldfish.scr.bat. damn. (see above)

6) some guy sent me klez infected mail. NAV took care of that.

7) i dialed-a-coke. the vending machine never responded.

8) UPDATE: a-ha just sent me another msg. “?????know werewolf ( silver bullet) ??” he seems to be fond of question marks. just wait till i bomb him with sixty thousand of those.

9) nothing’s happened yet, but i bet it will, sooner or later. i’m waiting…..

woke to to sound of thunder half an hour ago… (and to the irritatingly cool feeling of rain splashing in the window onto my feet.)

had my first paper yesterday. not good. not good at all. suddenly someone decided it’d be a good idea to lump all the unconventional questions they could think off into one paper, just so that it would become The Paper that generations after us would still be talking about. with bated breath. not made any better by the fact that this is a 5-choose-4 paper, as opposed to previous years’ 6-choose-4.

Hoping other subjects will raise spirits a little.

am now crunching on oreos and soy bean milk. not a bad combo. here’s how i eat oreos. and let me tell you, it’s the <i>only</i> way to eat ‘em… you first split the thing into two. (that’s layer-wise, moron.) what you do with the plain half is entirely up to you. then you either eat the cream off the other half, or munch on it… the next time i see anyone just biting into an oreo <i>as is</i>, i’m gonna scream.
