Way to go, Tammy!
Singaporean society is a tiny, yawn-ish society, where even mundane events like neighbours quarelling over a parking lot makes the news. Can you imagine how fast, then, the tails of our local newshounds must be wagging when it surfaces that the sex video of a 17 year old polytechnic girl is making its rounds on the internet? I shit you not. As of this writing, at 10.52am on February the 22nd, “Tammy NYP”, Tammy and NYP Tammy take top spots on the search charts on Technorati (click thumbnail for full-sized screenie). This is a worldwide index we’re talking about, mind you. This reflects either (a) what a damn bitchy society we are; (b) how plugged-in and well-connected our young generation is; (c) Many people would like news - or even better - videos of
HAWT NEKKID 17-YEAR-OLD SINGAPOREAN SEX
or
(d) all of the above.
Typing those words in bold above gives me an idea. It’s time to whore a little. I’ll post back with the google search terms used to find this post in a while. =)

UPDATE: 89 hits in 27 minutes starting from the second this post pinged Technorati. All by way of various combinations of “Tammy”, “NYP” and “video”. Only one weirdo found me through Google with the term “Cafe by the quad”. WTF.
UPDATE AGAIN: The appearance of this strange search term has apparently confounded at least one foreign blogger, judging from his post Tammy NYP - WTF?
Also, it’s interesting to click on the Tammy links on Technorati’s main page just to see what foreign media make of this local hoo-ha. Go do it. Now.
