Making its round on the intarnets today is the news that if you overlay a copy of the last supper with an inverted version of itself, you get three (possibly four) startling discoveries.

Needless to say, I had to try this for myself. (because, hey, why not?)

After Da Vinci finished painting The Last Supper, the pope commented that half of it looked very vivid, and the other half quite dull. Leonardo explained that he was running out of paint, and had to use paint thinner to finish the work. At this, the Pope became very upset, and in a loud voice told the artist: “Repaint, and thin no more!”
