Another boring afternoon at home sees me setting up my water-dripping rig again… This time with good results way before i hit 400 shots. :)

    Drops of water are almost perfectly spherical. The tradition of the “teardrop” shape is a myth.

    I think a drop of water in freefall at terminal velocity *does* take on a teardrop shape. Does it not?

    It would make sense because it’s aerodynamically superior to the sphere.
